How to make fps be larger

get a new vid card is the obvious solution but if thts not an option try replacing ur cfg (in profiles folder) to this one http://bashandslash.com/index.php?Itemid=74&id=320&option=com_content&task=view

go to the bottom where it says yitch3 and click on it. Ull find a long list of codes, copy all that. after going into ur profiles/*name*/ cfg (open with notepad) paste the yitch3 cfg coding stuff into tht and save it. when u go into the game ull notice it looks worse but ull probably get 10-20 more fps... ive used it since another member recommended it to and it kicks ass

i did what u told to me to copy those codes from ytchet and i did it than my model detail, water and kinda stuff changed to low, my graphic qualitiy was very low, than i erased cfg file and erased profile, but i have my real profile, i erased only second but never mind dont need to change it, because wont to change it anymore

Well, if you want more fps, without upgrading your hardware, change your settings to the lowest, is the way. Also disable shadows, and vertycal sinc. And you can try some console commands:

/r_lodscalerigids 4
/r_lodscaleskinned 4
/r_picmip 3
/r_applypicmip
/snaps 30
/com_maxfps 125
/cg_fov 80
/r_drawdecals 1
/r_drawsun 0
/cg_brass 0
/cl_maxpackets 60 (90 if you have a good net connection)

Also, when playing, turn off every app you got running (including av, firewall, etc.).

/cl_maxpackets 60 (this one play a bit with it. You can change the valeu between 60 and 90, depending on how good your connection is)

May not be true even if you have one get latest drivers and put some good meizures in command propmt as Loki said...

if anyones wants more fps try the yitch3 config out it works well for me and its easy to modify it in game with the binds if the server your on has minimum requirements.
